Contributions and Sponsorships
Why should I contribute to the orphanage or sponsor a child?
The children at Reverend Sirirat’s orphanage come
from the hilltribes, neighboring countries and from mothers and fathers who
have lost their lives to HIV, drug addiction and desperate conditions. Children
who never knew their parents and who have no one to call “family”.
These children have literally been given a second chance at life. Without any
documentation of where they were born, they will have difficulty ever attaining
citizenship. But with the help of the local schools and Pastor Pusurinkham,
they attend school and learn to be children knowing they are
loved. Her church is an intrinsic part of the community; part congregation,
part artisan craft center. The wares she sells help sustain her village
and prevent desperate and hungry women from selling their bodies and their
children into the sex trade.
Common ways to help are to sponsor a child, contribute money, or contribute items. You may also wish to 'buy a brick' for the new orphanage.
Sponsoring a Child
For $2 a day, less than the price of a grande latte, you can feed, clothe, school and house an orphan; $750
a year. You
receive a picture of the child, their biography, their artwork and a guarantee
that 100% of your gift is used to sustain that child. To learn

Contributing Money
One way to help is to donate a finite amount to the general fund of
the orphanage, which has unforeseen expenses like any organization. You can donate
using PayPal using the button below, or contact us by email or at the address
included at the bottom of this page to discuss other options.
As a token of our appreciation, those who donate $50.00 or greater will receive a handmade paper doll, clothed in hilltribe/village clothing, characteristic of either the Lisu or Karen Hilltribe people. These make wonderful Christmas ornaments, or great ways to explain to children about those in other parts of the world.
Your donation will be most appreciated, and 100% of your gift will be used to sustain the orphanage.
Contributing Items
Another way to help is to put
together a small box for one of these children, filled with
ABC books, crayons, T-shirts, a baseball cap, colored pencils, small children
games, you name it. Send it to an orphan from your child.
